It's been a busy week at Elland Road as the transfer deadline approaches - Here at Unofficial we have tried to sort out the rumours from the facts to bring you an update on what has been happening:-

◄Danny Mills:- Danny signed for Middlesbrough earlier this week on a one year loan deal and contrary to reports that came out at the time, will be free to play Leeds in his first game today. He claimed first team football was the main reason for him switching.  You can read  full details of his views at his own website - click HERE.

◄Paul Okon - Paul has joined Italian side Vicenza on a loan deal.  Okon played 15 times for the whites under Terry Venables but was dropped immediately by Peter Reid last season.

◄Nigel Martyn - Nigel has been a faithful servant to the Elland Road faithful and no-one would begrudge him a move that would allow his the chance to play first team football.  It is understood a Premiership team has come forward with a proposal to take Nige - and whilst the big man turned down a move to Chelski in the summer, the fact that Paul Robinson has taken the number 1 shirt again, could see him prepared to move.

◄Ian Harte - Despite a massive improvement in his game at the end of last season, Harte has only made the bench once this season.  A number of Premiership clubs and at least one Seria A side have approached Leeds and it is understood the left back is considering his options

◄Mark Viduka - The Chairman, John McKenzie has confirmed Leeds received a loan offer from Inter Milan which was immediately turned down.  Interestingly though, McKenzie added that he would only let Viduka go if the player wanted to leave and the club received an exceptional price - sounds a bit like putting him in the shop window to me!

◄Stephen Mcphain - McPhail has joined up Paul Hart at Forest for a three month loan deal that Paul Hart is keen to extend.

►Salomon Olembe - The Cameroon midfielder has joined Leeds on a one year loan deal, subject to the results of a medical - The deal should be finalised this weekend.

►Roque Junior - The Brazilian Defender has agreed personal terms and will join Leeds from AC Milan for one year subject to medical and work permit.

►In addition to these moves, Unofficial Leeds United understands that a 'Big name' forward is also in the pipelines.  With the transfer window coming to an end, expect a frantic final few days in the premiership.
