Leeds reserves were in action last night, but despite a late fight back, a 3 goal deficit proved too much for Steve Agnew's men... Leeds reserves lost their first game of the season last night to Sunderland. Leeds were without several 'regulars' as Singh, Mcphail and Kilgallon are on loan, Richardson is injured, and Okon was in talks with an un named italian club. Didier Domi did play though, and after coming through 90 minutes, could well find himself in the team for Saturday. For the first hour, Leeds were poor, and found themselves 3 down. Milner had the best chance for Leeds, while Johnson and Leenon had half openings closed. Eventuallt Leeds got the bit between their teeths, and the impressive Lennon escaped down the flank, and crossed for Woods to score. Leeds upped the tempo now, and Lennon went on one amazing run, leaving defenders in his wake. The dribble deserved a goal, but his shot was just wide, next to go close was Milner, but he couldn't make the most of the oppurtunity. With a minute to go though, the 17 year old did get on the scoresheet when he picked up on a poor back pass and finished well. It was too little too late though, and Steve Agnew's men slipped to defeat.
