Cast your minds back to August 2007 when it was announced Leeds were to be docked 15 points for failling to comply with League rules relating to administration. Relegation was a far more likely outcome than survival, let alone promotion. Move forward to 26th December 2007, and Leeds Utd actually occupied the top spot of the division.

Leeds have certainley rellied on luck this season, although some would argue that they create their own and another last minute goal saw Leeds gain a valuable point away from home in this Boxing Day clash.

Leeds did not play well and it looked like they would suffer a defeat thanks to a 20th minute goal by former Leeds man, Robbie Elliot but the Whites dug deep and leading scorer, Jermaine Beckford pulled back that all important goal in the 90th minute to see Leeds gain a point.

With a 12 o'clock kick off, that point saw Leeds draw level with the top teams and move to the top of the League 1 table, albeit briefly - which is the stuff of dreams to Leeds fans that were their for that announcement in August.
