With the World Cup hardly over, the new Season is upon us already, as Leeds enterntain Norwich. It's been a whirlwind last week or so with a never ending stream of players in or out of Elland Road. Kevin blackwell will pick his team for what is a crucial season. After the disaster that was the play off final, Leeds must get off to a flying start. So what team will he go for? It seems certain that we'll be playing a 4-4-2 formation, but which players fill the slots is anyone's guess. In goal, will be either Neil Sullivan or loanee Tony Warner, dependant on if Sulli can shake off a dead leg.
Right back seems nailed on as Kelly, but then comes the guessing games. Kilgallon and Butler could well line up as centre halves, although Sean Gregan is in the mix. Left back could be one of a handful. Stephen Crainey may be fit, whilst Kila can also play there. Eddie Lewis and Fraser Richardson are also in with a shout.

The midfield as well seems open to debate. Sean Derry could be fit, but has missed pre season, whilst new boy Nicholls is out for 3 months. Steve Stone should get the nod, along with Sebastian Carole, with Erikke Bakke hoping to shake off a knock and line up there as well. Ian Westlake is also looking to start after finalising the details today on his swap deal. Gylfi Einarsson could also come into the mix depending on injuries, whilst Gregan and Lewis may play if not selected in other positions - confused? Let's move onto the strikers then....

Up front, it is likely to be Geoff Horsefield alongside Robbie Blake, although Healy is fighting for the spot - Jermaine Beckford and Ian Moore will be battling for a place on the bench.

This could all change of course, as another signing is rumoured to be imminent...

The visitors are expected to be one of around 10 teams that have got a decent chance this season, and were last years promotions favourites. They are without Goalkeeper Robert Greene, but have a strong team, and will push Leeds all the way. With qualiy teams like Palace, Sunderland, Birmingham, WBA etc all battling for the top 2 places, it's imperative to get the season off to a flyer...
