Our best defender's been stolen (as has his possible replacement), our poor run at Elland Road continues, and Blackburn are supposedly trying to nick our boss! And there's a new fanzine out this week if you're interested.... Callum Davenport has been sold off for a decent enough amount - presuming that appearances for West Ham count towards the "add-ons" that will eventually see the fee rise to £3m. £1.1 million it is then - and not so decent.... Malky Mackay has opted for a temporary spell in WHU's first team before their proper defenders return from injury (Though he did only start WHU life as a substitute, coming on in the 87th minute). Fulham defender Dean Leacock has been signed on loan to replace him, and Manchester United youngster Luke Steele has come in on loan to give Scott Shearer a challenge for the No. 1 shirt. Peter Reid is one of the names in the frame for the vacant managers job at Blackburn Rovers - anyone got Eric Black's phone number if PR leaves? Three soft goals saw CCFC lose at Elland Road (Again). Former treatment table dweller Julian Joachim rather obviously scored.... This Thursday sees CCFC hold their first fans' forum of the season. It takes place at Coventry City Supporters' Club in Freehold Street, with manager Peter Reid, Chairman Mike McGinnity, as well as Richard Shaw and Stephen Hughes answering questions (Report hopefully to be put on this site, if I can get in, and if I stay sober!). Doors open at 7.30pm, with the Q&A starting around 8pm. Door price is £1, with space for 200 people. `Cov City Til I Die!
