Nuneaton and Coventry played out a 0-0 draw in front of around 1,500 supporters, with the away side fielding a trialist formerly on Spurs books, while Town had Marlon Harewood in their squad.
A fairly entertaining first-half was replaced by a slightly more uninspired second half!
Charles-Cook made his debut in goal for Coventry City, against the side he spent time with on loan last season. He was forced to make a couple of saves, but his finest moment was when he skinned Marlon Harewood in the penalty area!
Romain Vincelot also made his debut, as a second half substitute, as did Sam Ricketts.
