The Beast Continues Parkin His 'Arris On Cardiff's Bench

Coventry City's attempts to bring possibly the only player in the league slower than what we already have, Jon Parkin, to the Ricoh Arena (And various away grounds too), has failed.

According to reports, the deal was £750,000, plus Parkin as a £100,000 make-weight (Or should that read 'heavy-weight'?), or £950,000 and Aron Gunnarsson back, but those responsible for sorting such things could not agree terms. 

On the off-chance Parkin comes in on loan next week, I'll keep the insults to a minimum, as he could be just what we need .... as long as the team start getting some of the takings from the various food outlets around the ground.
