A seven foot bronze statue of Jimmy Hill, which will stand outside the entrance to the Ricoh Arena, has been commissioned, despite the amount needed for the work to be completed not having been reached yet. 

Sculptor Nicholas Dimbleby has been given the job of creating the piece, which should be ready for unveiling at the start of the 2011/12 season, though the amount needed for the work to be completed hasn't been reached yet. 

The total cost will be £150,000, most of which has been raised by supporters, businesses, and other organisations, though the amount needed for the work to be completed hasn't been reached yet. 

With the required amount to finish the works not quite reached yet, those footballers who are earning anywhere near this amount per week might consider dipping into their own pockets, seeing as it was JH who helped abolish the minimum wage - though I doubt he ever thought player's salaries would reach the stupid amounts they have.

The statue of Hill, who used to supplement his football wage by sweeping chimney's in the summer months, is a fitting reward for a footballing visionary, though the amount needed for the work to be completed hasn't been reached yet. 

Has anybody got Frank Lampard, John Terry, Wayne Rooney, or anybody else earning stupid money's phone number? Because the amount needed for the work to be completed hasn't been reached yet, and they might be able to help.
