Reports suggest that Sam Vokes has turned down the chance to join a host of promotion chasing sides (Including Newcastle, Middlesboro, and Cardiff) to join Coventry City on loan.
Vokes was left out of the Wolves side that failed to do what Coventry City managed a year or two ago, beat Manchester United at Old Trafford, with those selected for said side tonight giving the United corner flags a severe testing.
Mick McCarthy is said to be keen to give Vokes (Classed as an 'impact player', often coming on from the bench to score) more experience in the division he expects his Wolves side to once again be competing in next season.
Reports also suggest David Healy is on the way to the Ricoh too, though Joe Cole probably isn't, which is a shame for two reasons: (1) he would probably set up a goal or two (Which puts him ahead of a few players in the current XI), and (2) he might add one or three extra people to the attendance.
