Sell Out!

It was always a question of 'when' not 'if', but the Coventry-Chelsea quarter final match has officially sold out - the first full-house since the Arena opened in August 2005.

The ticket office stayed open until 9.15pm on Saturday night, as Cup Fever grips the City, with supporters queueing overnight to make sure they didn't miss out. Some supporters were given vouchers should season ticket holders not take up their full allocation (Which according to some websites, was six per season ticket holder).

The club did miss a trick though not trying to make supporters that didn't attend the Birmingham and/or Blackburn fixture buy tickets for the Sheffield United fixture, or even a full season ticket for next year! There's know doubt that if Coventry dare to lose to Chelsea, 10,000+ supporters will simply disappear off again on matchdays....

Some tickets are said to be available on ebay, but the club are looking to stop people who have bought from the site from entering the ground. From the official site: 'Coventry City Football Club will be monitoring the situation and, in conjunction with Ebay, will be removing the sale of Saturday's match tickets from the auctioning site where found'.
