Wounder! If only Coventry City could learn to defend until the final whistle, they would be in the Quarter Finals of the F.A. Cup, and at least two points better off in the league. Actually, make that three, because Burnley's late shows against us this season have turned a draw into a defeat, and a victory into a draw.

Some might say that for Burnley to have got nothing from their display on the night would have been an injustice, but we've all been there. For a start, Coventry didn't deserve to be beaten in the home fixture!

Best should have won a penalty after only 16 minutes, though the referee chose to ignore the appeals of the Coventry supporters! Michael Doyle attempted to make it four goals in four games with a decent effort after half-an-hour, which Jensen parried away. 

The first half of this game was so dull that Ian Holloway, given the task of watching this game for Sky Sports ('Watching paint dry', as he described it), kept trying to watch the monitors of his fellow panelists! He was woken from his slumber a minute from half-time, as Leon Best, or 'Phantom Of The Opera' as IH called him, scored from a quality Henderson cross.

Despite the boredom that was the opening 45 minutes, IH was massively impressed with Dan Fox's left foot, and the quality of his delivery from set pieces, and also became the latest member of the Aron Gunnarsson Fan Club, describing him as 'a class act'.

In the second half, Caldwell saw a header cleared off the line, before a triple substitution by the home side on 71 minutes, bringing on MacDonald, Rodriquez and Eagles, eventually saw the home side get the breakthrough some would say they deserved.

Just as IH was praising Coventry City for their defensive display (Later to be criticised by Chris Coleman, who accused his team of playing to deep), and the expert way they were denying Burnley, Chris Eagles once again broke Sky Blue hearts, latching onto a Wright error, and lobbing Westwood.

Only minutes before, in a re-run of last weekends disappointment, Eastwood had threatened to make the scoreline 3-1, only to see his effort go just wide of the post.
