West Brom, Quite A Few, Coventry Nil....

Before this match, Tony Mowbray had ordered his mis-firing strikers to start scoring, or else - how nice of Coventry City's defenders to gift them goals galore and make sure that they won't be dropped before their next match. Adebola could have scored within seconds of the kick-off for Coventry, Camara did score in less than a minute for WBA - thanks in part to Ward and Marshall knocking each other to the ground, leaving the WBA striker with the simple task of walking the ball into an empty net.

The second goal came from the penalty spot, though the decision looked harsh with Hall seeming to get the ball rather than the man. It mattered not, as Camara scored his second goal of the game.

Any watching Roma spies would have no real idea of his qualities after this match, as I'm sure they would expect some kind of challenge on him during the game....

Koumas made it 3-0, and game over, after 38 minutes. Plenty of teams have come back from such a scoreline, but, with Coventry's strikers every bit as wasteful as the defenders were useless, it was never going to happen. You've more chance of seeing Santa fly past your window on Christmas Eve.

Phillips made it 4-0 with just under an hour played, as every Coventry City player decided his BO was just to strong for them to get near him, with Robinson completing the rout with seven minutes remaining.

Bischoff finally made it onto the pitch (After 61 minutes), having been an unused substitute for the last few matches. If he can steer clear of injury, it's a good job too, as Duffy and Page were both booked too, and both will now miss the tricky looking away fixture at Luton next weekend. Happy days....

If ordering people to score does really work, it's about time MA tried the same tactic with our shot-shy forwards....

Those players on the pitch were not worthy of the superb support given to them by the travelling Sky Blue Army.

Adrian Heath had claimed at the club's AGM that the side had a good chance of reaching the play-offs. After this feeble showing, he must know something the rest of us don't about every team above us being docked points....
