"You can never have enough strikers" ... here's another one

Lincoln City have signed yet another striker after paying a transfer fee for Alfreton's Ben Tomlinson.

Keith Alexander, Simpson's former manager at numerous clubs, used to say "you can never have enough strikers" and Simpson is currently following in his old boss' footsteps after signing yet another striker. Tomlinson joins Nick Wright, Adi Yussuf, Connor Robinson, Bohan Dixon and Waide Fairhurst in the striking ranks, with midfielder Danny Rowe also having played up front during his career.

The Imps have paid an undisclosed four figure fee for Tomlinson's services from Alfreton Town. The striker scored 9 league goals last season.

Tomlinson started his career at Worksop before an injury hit spell at Macclesfield.
