In a new feature called "Statisfaction" we will be finding out who is the most useful player in certain situations. For this one we look at the player most likely to win games based on their playing history with the Imps, and that player is the recently dropped Danny Hone.

Danny Hone is Lincoln's longest serving player, making his debut as a second half substitute against Chester City in Peter Jackson's first game in charge. It was a surprise debut for Hone as he replaced the injured Lee Beevers, as the youngster had never even been on the bench for the Imps up until that point.

91 more appearances for the club have followed, and despite never really seeming like a first choice defender with either Sutton or Tilson, Hone has the largest percentage of wins under his belt in an Imps shirt.

Hone was recently dropped as Tony Sinclair returned from injury and Tilson could only play two central defenders. He chose Gowling and Watts, who are second and third respectively.

Josh O'Keefe is surprisingly fourth. There was a spell at the beginning of last season where Lincoln would get something out of every game he didn't compete in, but then lose every time he played. The particular stat changed when we won at Southend when he was in the squad.

Ali Fuseini is in fifth with 19.05% of victories, with Gavin McCallum and Joe Anyon being next.

Andy Hutchinson is statistically speaking the worst out of those that have been at the club longer than just this season, with just three wins coming when Hutchinson has been on the pitch.

Danny has the fortune of having played a few games when we bordered on being a half-decent side. Sadly, most of the other have, regardless of personal ability, had to suffer being in a side of amazing incompetence!
Remember you can make stats say almost anything!

If that is the case with Danny Hone why is he not playing instead of sitting on the bench, has Tilson fallen out with him again and will he be on the loan market again.

We had 2 defenders carrying injuries last night and Tilson still didn't want Hone in the side. We do need another centre-back but I dont think Hone is the one.
