Another day and another defeat for Lincoln. With going to games becoming tedious I look at why we've gone from seeming safety to being back in the drop zone and those responsible.

The usual suspects during poor performances/goal gluts against.

Next Saturday the game at Crewe will be my 300th consecutive competitive match following the Imps, the 299th was part of a common trend since around 100 games into that run in that it was extremely frustrating, disappointing and just down right awful. I'm a man of simple pleasure, I like the little things in life but when it comes to football, paying £300 a year for a season ticket before then spending unknown amounts of travel to away games, getting in, programmes, DVDs and whatever else, all I want in return is a little bit of effort.

I can take losing, I'm used to it by now following Lincoln, but for the first time ever I left early during our game against Gillingham, and it wasn't just a minute or two early, it was near enough 25 minutes early. I realised that this bunch of clowns we have played for us don't care. Not one of them looked concerned that we were losing 3-0 (at the time) at home, that despite us being on the way to our fourth home thrashing of the season.

The seven players at the top of the screen are just a handful of the players who are responsible for this season being an horrendous disappointment and it wouldn't be a major surprise to see City go down. I have been championing Watts and Hone, thinking they weren't as bad as some made them out to be, but my mind well and truly changed against Gillingham. McDonald and Akinfenwa couldn't have had an easier time against two central defenders who refused to tackle. The lead up to the third goal saw McDonald comfortably run past both without so much as a tackle to combat him. To make Moses Swaibu look like Rio Ferdinand is certainly pushing it.

Ali Fuseini has come into this football club and I am still wondering how the hell he managed regular appearances in League One. He just simply can't complete a simple pass, every pass that isn't two/three yards in distance goes astray and he wasted the set pieces, playing them either too short or too long and quite frankly he has yet to repay any of faith shown in him.

Then you get onto Drewe Broughton and Ben Hutchinson. Drewe Broughton, 29 games - No Goals. Let me spell that out to you so you can truly grasp how bad that is.......no other strike in Lincoln City's history had EVER had to wait until potentially their 30th game before they actually got their first goal, the worst part is that he never even looks like scoring. Then you get onto Ben Hutchinson, sometimes tries, often doesn't and has only scored four goals whilst on loan from Celtic, the last of which was on November 20th, and yet he says he wants to come here permanently.....good luck with that one!

Speaking of shit players who want to join permanently, Julian SODDING Kelly. He joined three months ago on loan and he has been the very definition of a shite footballer. How many times is he going to gift the ball to the opposition near the box? How many mistakes is he going to make? How many sodding points is he going to cost us. There's a 30 Day Football Challenge on Facebook at the moment and one of the final challenges is to name a player who you struggle to figure out how they made it as a professional footballer............Julian Kelly is certainly getting my vote......at least Kanyuka's tall and could be useful at corners.

To be honest this season can't end soon enough and I sincerely hope we get the points we need as soon as possible as I quite frankly can't be bothered anymore. If I hadn't already got the season ticket for the remaining two home games and the coach tickets for the remaining away games then I'd genuinely be thinking of not going anymore. What's the point when you know that as soon as the opposition score, it's game over. Because of Grimes' suspension and Hunt's injury, only one player who is likely to play against Crewe next Saturday has scored a goal in the last month, and even then the Imps lost.

Approaching my 300th game......at the current rate there's not a chance in hell it'll reach 400.
