Ashley Grimes voted League Two's sixth best

Lincoln's on loan Millwall strike Ashley Grimes has been voted as League Two's sixth best player following 17 goals since November. Lincoln legend Gareth Ainsworth was also included in the top ten.

A panel of judges, consisting of journalists, pundits and former players chose the best ten players in the division and whilst there nine of the top ten come from teams chasing promotion, 17th placed Lincoln's 17 goal striker Ashley Grimes has also been included in the official top ten.

Grimes joined on loan from Millwall in October and although he didn't start off with a bang, he was soon finding the net on a regular basis, bagging a hatrick in the 4-3 away win at Stockport.

The top ten consists of two goalkeepers, two midfielders and six strikers.

4 - Craig Davies (Chesterfield)

5 - Cody McDonald (Gillingham)

7 - Tommy Lee (Chesterfield)

8 - Marc Richards (Port Vale)

9 - Danny Whittaker (Chesterfield)

10 - Nikki Bull (Wycombe)
