Kanyuka's red card applauded by City fans

Patrick Kanyuka's performance against Rotherham has been slated after the defender was responsible for four of the goals conceded in the 6-0 defeat. He not only was responsible for four of the goals but conceded a penalty and got sent off, something which brought cheers from Lincoln fans.

You know what, it's been a while since I have been so angry about a specific player's performance. I've been pretty miffed about Julian Kelly's displays in recent months, I've been frustrated that Josh O'Keefe doesn't really get involved, but none have caused me to actually think that Moses Swaibu wasn't that bad, but Kanyuka makes Swaibu looks like Rio Ferdinand or John Terry

Kanyuka joined the Imps in January and has since gone on to make several astonishingly atrocious performances and although Rotherham were excellent in their 6-0 win at Sincil Bank, Patrick Kanyuka will surely go down as their man of the match after what was one of the worst displays by an individual player for years. It got to the point where Lincoln fans cheered when he got a red card, the general concencus being that it was better to play with ten men than have an eleventh and it being Kanyuka.

The big defender is with Lincoln until the end of the season and the chances of him securing a contract for next season seem slim, at best.

Chances of getting a new contract are non-existent I'd say. I can't remember any player being panned as much as him since the dawn of the internet message board.

I've never seen an Imps player run off the pitch so quickly, even before he actually received his second yellow card! He knew, he just knew that his time was up; it was like the boating lake "Come in number forty, your time is up!"

I don't expect to see him playing for the Imps again.

So what has he done in training to deserve a place in the team? Has looked a clown in every game I've seen him but he doesant get to pick himself, so whose to blame?
