Patulea on trial at Hereford and scores twice

Ex Lincoln striker Adrian Patulea scored twice during a friendly for Hereford to enhance his chances of joining the Bulls. The Romanian has been on trail there for the past few days following his release from Leyton Orient.

Hereford faced Cardiff in the behind-closed-doors friendly and Patulea scored twice to give himself an excellent chance of securing a permanent deal.

Patulea has been without a club since leaving Leyton Orient last month after a loan spell with Hayes and Yeading. Patulea came into English football in the non-league but gained a trial at Sincil Bank after impressing Peter Jackson with his attitude. Despite complications with the deal, a contract was signed and Patulea scored 11 times in 33 games for the Imps, although his appearances were restricted to the bench before leaving for Leyton Orient.
