Lincoln City duo Joe Anderson and Cian Hughton have been the subject of loan offers from Blue Square Premier teams. Anderson was a target for Eastbourne Borough, whereas Hughton was wanted by Newport County.
Both have found their first team action extremely restricted at Sincil Bank since the arrival of Steve Tilson, that despite both being first team regulars under previous manager Chris Sutton. Both have been relegated to the bench since the arrival of Tilson, making just the odd appearance here and there for the first team.
Hughton has scored once this season, away at Gillingham, but has otherwise failed to make the same impact last season, whereas Anderson has always been a subject of blame from certain section of the Imps support, even if he had nothing to do with the build up to opposition goals.
It was reported in this morning's Lincolnshire Echo that Eastbourne wanted to take Anderson on loan and Hughton was wanted by Newport. It is unknown whether either will actually leave Sincil Bank on loan, but neither look likely to at Sincil Bank next season when their contracts expire.
