Imps sign Reading's Kelly on loan

Lincoln City have signed Julian Kelly on loan from Reading. The young defender is the latest attempt from Tilson to shore up a defence that have concede goals for fun in the last few weeks.

Kelly, who used to be at Arsenal's academy, has played for Reading since the 2008/9 season, although a shoulder injury stalled a promising young career last year and he has since been out of the promotion picture at Reading since then.

With the Imps conceding 15 goals in their last 5 games, Tilson has taken a big step to improve the defence by signing a new defender. It could spell trouble for some of the defenders within the side whom are very fragile when defending.

Kelly goes straight into the side to face Wycombe on Saturday.
