It was a bad day all around for the Imps as the inevitable happened. After several weeks of barely being out of the relegation zone, City now find themselves in 23rd after Barnet won at Bradford City, meaning that despite having four games in hand, the Imps are now adrift of the pack.

Bradford, conquerers of the Imps seven days ago, took the lead against Barnet through Oliver, but three goals in six second half minutes from Kiernan (og), Uddin and Holmes climbs Barnet off of the bottom of the League and out of the relegation zone, leaving City and Hereford in the bottom two on nineteen points. City now have four games in hand on their relegation rivals, but points on the board are better than games in hand.

From one team that have sacked their manager in an attempt to stay up to another. Stockport will host the Imps in two weeks but sacking Paul Simpson has done nothing for their defence as despite scoring through Demontagnac, a hatrick from McDonald and goals from Barcham and Weston gave Gillingham a 5-1 win at Edgeley Park.

Elsewhere, Morecambe pulled even further clear of the drop zone with a win at Shrewsbury, Accrington beat Bury, Oxford won at Aldershot, Crewe beat Wycombe, Chesterfield won at SOuthend and there was a 1-1 draw in the game between Northampton and Cheltenham.
