Barnet sack Stimson

The League Two relegation battle has taken an interesting twist with the news that the Bees have sacked Stimson. With Barnet in the relegation zone on goal difference behind the Imps, the Bees have taken action.

Stimson took charge of his last game for the Imps in a 2-1 home defeat to Aldershot, their second home defeat in a week. After surviving relegation on the last day of last season, they were hoping to avoid another relegation battle this season, but find themselves in the bottom two.

Paul Fairclough has taken charge on a temporary basis and he has a tough first game back in charge, a trip to nearby Stevenage.
