Lincoln City and Hereford will have to wait again to find out whom will progress to face Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup Second Round Replay. The match has been postponed for the third time, whereas it is Lincoln's sixth consecutive match that has been called off.
The match was due to be played on Tuesday evening but was quickly called off by Phil Joslin, whom was sent by the FA after the Imps had requested an inspection. He had little trouble in calling the match off.
With no new date confirmed for either this game, or the three League matches that City have had, the fixtures are starting to pile up for Lincoln, especially now that there's no free space to play the FA Cup replay before the date that the third round is supposed to take place. The Imps do not have a free Tuesday night (that doesn't come a day after another game has been played) until January 11th, three days after the third round is supposed to be played.
Unless the game is played on another night of the week, potentially a Wednesday or Thursday, then it is likely that the Second Round replay will be rearranged for Third Round day.
