Lincoln are one of just fourteen

It has emerged today that Lincoln are one of just fourteen clubs in the Football League that didn't pay any money to agents last over a calendar year that ended June 30th 2010. It was Championship Middlesbrough who spent the most, almost £1.5million on agents fees alone.

Notts County had rather unsurprisingly paid the most to agents over the year of June 2009 - June 2010, spenting £246,483 on agents fees during that time, the highest for any club in League Two during that period. The rest of League Two management just £120,000 between them.

The figures released show that Lincoln are just one of fourteen clubs who spent nothing on agents fees, with the others being Accrington, Barnet, Bournemouth, Chesterfield, Crewe, Dagenham, Darlington, Exeter, Hereford, Macclesfield, Port Vale, Stockport and Tranmere.
