The deadline to sign up to "The Match 4" is approaching. The annual football tournament currently have seven confirmed teams and one tentative and for the first time since the tournaments began, we will have two separate groups.

Firstly, would all team captains please let me know what colours they intend on playing in.

The teams confirmed so far as Waddo United, Wilson Mondo, Welton Imps, Matalan and Diamonds (A and B), Team Vodafone and the Nissionpastas. Nottingham's Showcase Cinema are also putting together a team, although they are yet to absolutely confirm if they will be taking part or not.

This year's tournament will take place on June 5th and will cost £15 per team to enter. This money will be paid BEFORE the day of the tournament, this is due to several teams not paying in the past and me being out of pocket.

The tournament will be 2 groups of four as it stands. Each team will play each other twice, guaranteeing every team at least three matches. The top two teams will go through to the semi finals and so on and so forth. With the involvement of more teams, the more groups and knock out rounds there will be.

We will only allow a maximum of 12 teams to take part, but in that case the tournament will have to last three hours instead. Obviously I'll keep you all updated with regards to this.

If you wish to enter a team then all you need to do is email me at bestfriendsbecomestrangers@hotmail.co.uk with your team. You have until the end of April to register for the tournament.

Billy Jarish will be doing photos for the tournament as well.

I will inform everyone when we have reached the 12 team mark.
