In the Friday night match Moseley never recovered form the Titans scoring two tries in the opening eight minutes and lost out five tries to two to the National One outfit.

Bridgwater & Albion 0 NEC Harlequins 48

Quins ran out convincing winners with an eight try display at Bath Road against National Three South side Bridgwater and Albion. Leading the way was this seasons leading try scorer at Quins Ugo Monye with another two.

Redruth 0 Exeter Chiefs 57

Comfortable win for Exeter Chiefs at Redruth with Tony Yapp leading the way with a 22 point haul in an eight try romp.

Nottingham 33 Blaydon 17

National Three North side Blaydon did themselves proud and were well in the match at the break with the home side taking the lead in injury time to lead 13-12.

Pertemps Bees 22 Otley 29

Otley got revenge for last weeks home defeat to the Bees with this away success at Sharmans Cross Road. Ben Harvey kicked the home side into a 15-14 half time lead but Otley came back in the second half to win the game and book a place in the quarter final.

Bedford Blues 57 Esher 17

Bedford were convincing winners over National Two leaders Esher who suffered their first loss of the season in the nine try defeat. Leading the way was Mark Harris with 27 points form a hat trik of tries and six conversions.

Plymouth Albion 36 Cornish Pirates 20

HT: 24-6. Referee: Dean Richards. Albion ran out comfortable winners over the Cornish Pirates in front of a 2734 crowd at Brickfields. Three tries in the first half saw Albion go in 24-6 ahead and two furter tries in the third quarter sealed the win before the Pirates scored the only two tries of the fourth quarter.  

London Welsh 39 Coventry 30

The Welsh were quick out of the blocks and three tries in the opening 17 minutes saw them go into a 21-3 lead. Coventry then ran in a couple of tries to pull it back to 21-17 before the home side kicked a penalty and scored a fourth try to lead 29-17 at the break. In the second half Coventry pulled it back to 32-30 by the 73^rd minutes with two James Moore penalties and a third try from second row Ben Gulliver. In injury time Jim Brownrigg sealed the win for the Welsh with his sides fifth try.
