EARTH Titans A-team take on Doncaster in the 'hottest' Merit Table game of the season so far. Rotherham's traditional rivals hate losing to their more illustrious neighbours and Rotherham love making them miserable. The game is at Castle Park on Thursday evening and the kick-off is at 7.30pm.

The Titans currently top the NCA North Merit Table ahead of Doncaster on points difference with Otley following close on their heals. This is a game both sides want to win, their pride demands it, so it should be a great spectacle.

Looking ahead to tomorrow's game, A-team Coach Craig West said,

"We expect a fierce competitive game from Doncaster, we're both at the top of the table and both want to do well. The team turning up wanting to work most will finish on top."

"We're expecting a good crowd with many from Rotherham who have expressed an interest in the game."

"It will be a good opportunity for those wanting to make a claim for a place in the first team squad to lay down a marker. There are those who are busting a gut to progress and this is the game to do it in."

Injuries make squad selection uncertain, the final cut will be made tomorrow. Nd Monye is expected to come in on the wing, Gaz Brear returns at fullback, Lodewyk Strauss moves to flyhalf and Gareth McComb strengthens the pack in the backrow.

Admission is free and the bar will be open; so everything is in place for an entertaining evening!
