Rotherham have sent out an invite to the media to Clifton Lane to here an announcement about the "significant sponsorship agreement for the forthcoming season". The club will also announce the new name for the new season......whats wrong with the current one? Here is the full release....

"Rotherham Rugby Club would like to invite the media to Clifton Lane, Rotherham on Thursday 14 August 2003 when an announcement will be made with regard to a significant sponsorship agreement for the forthcoming season.

The Club will also be announcing the new name under which the team will be known.

The briefing will be held from 10.30am in the Club Room at Clifton Lane. Refreshments will be available.

Officials from Rotherham Rugby Club and the new Sponsors will be available for one-to-one interviews following the briefing.
