Rossington 11 Rotherham 31 Rotherham won a scrappy affair against the leagues bottom side. The first half was very poor from Rotherham s point of view, with basic errors made from everyone and a general lack intensity against a side clearly fancying their first win of the season. The half finished 13 11 in Roths favour with Andy Yates getting the try. Roth upped the tempo after half time to play the type of rugby which suits them best with the forwards mauling particularly well and getting decent ball to the backs. Two second half scores from winger John Ratcliffe and fly half Tom Jenkinson ultimately proved too much for the home side. Rotherham Phoenix 15 N. Warhurst 14 J. Mallender 13 J. Saddignton 12 P.
