Bedford Blues remain in fifth pace after this home win over Coventry but draw level with Plymouth Albion on 33 points.

The Blues were ahead after eight minutes when second row Marc Comb went over for a try and a 5-0 lead. Ben Russell pulled three points back for the visitors on 21 minutes but three minutes later and the Blues had their second try. It came from prop Matt Volland and this time James Pritchard converted it to make it 12-3.

They went over for a third try just before the break with scrum half Karl Dickson going in and again Pritchard converted for 19-3.

It was Pritchard who got the bonus point try five minutes into the second half and converted it to make it 26-3 and put them into a winning lead. .

They managed two more tries in the fourth quarter as centre Craig Moir and prop James Graham went over whilst Coventry full back Myles Dorrian went over to get the visitors only try.

Doncaster 25 (Tries: Wilson (22), Foster (55), Bunting (60), W Davies (77). Con: Benson. Pen: Woodrow (46).   

Otley 15 (Tries: Stockdale (11), Tiffany (40). Con: Brown. Pen: Brown (35).  

Doncaster remain in sixth place after this home win over Otley who remain in ninth spot.

It was Otley who took the lead when flanker Matt Stockdale went over for a try on 11 minutes. 11 minutes later and the home side were level with No 8 Glen Wilson going in against his old club.

Andy Brown kicked the visitors ahead and when he converted a try from the other flanker James Tiffany to make it 15-5 for Otley at the break.

Mark Woodrow pulled three points back for the home side six minutes into the second half. They were within two points on 55 minutes when flanker Jason Forster went in for his 11^th try of the season. They took the lead five minutes later when prop Simon Bunting went in for a try and they led 18-15.

They did not seal the win till the 77^th minute when left wing Wes Davies went over for a try and this time it was converted by Jon Benson.

London Welsh 32 (Tries: Ritchie (24), Marks (49), Ulph (67), Strong (71). Cons: Ulph 3. Pens: Ulph 2 (7, 35).

Nottingham made it two in a row with this away win at London Welsh in a high scoring affair with 10 tries.  

They did the damage in the first half building up a 29-11 lead after going ahead in the third minute with a try from prop Ryan Hopkins.

Sam Ulph pulled three points back for the Welsh but to tries in four minutes saw the visitors go 19-3 up after 18 minutes after tries from prop Peter Cook and wing Will Logan.

Hooker Chris Ritchie went in for the home sides first try on 24 minutes before Ulph and Tom Barlow exchanged penalty goals. Late in the half the visitors picked up the four try bonus point with flanker Alex Loney going over for a try and Barlow added the extras.

Barlow got the first score of the second half with a drop goal but it was the Welsh who got the first try of the second half with fly half Tom Marks touching down. Replacement No 8 Neil Corin got the fifth Nottingham try and Barlow converted before putting over another penalty goal to make it 42-18 just after the hour mark.

The Welsh then scored two tries in four minutes to claim a four try bonus point as Ulph and right wing James Strong went over and Ulph converted them both. The final word was left to Barlow with the final try of the match and finished the game with 22 points.  

Newbury 23 (Tries: Walsh (50), Roberts (53). Cons: Walsh 2. Pens: Walsh 3 (14, 29, 79). 

Plymouth Albion 28 (Tries: Sestaret (32), Hayes (57), Arscott (69). Cons: Neethling 2. Pens: Neethling 3 (2, 6, 27).  

Plymouth Albion pick up a valuable away win at Newbury but drop a place in the table to 4^th after failing to secure the four try bonus point.

Wihan Neethling put them 6-0 ahead with two penalty goals in the opening six minutes.

Tom Walsh replied with one for the home side before they both exchanged penalty goal to make it 9-6 to Albion after 29 minutes.

Three minutes later and Albion got the games opening try as winger Nicholas Sestaret went over for 6^th try of the season, Neethling converted to make it 16-6 at the break.

Two tries in three minutes turned the game round as the home side went into a 20-16 lead after tries from Walsh and Full back Mal Roberts, both converted by Walsh.

They led for just six minutes with No 8 Tom Hayes getting the second Plymouth try and they led 21-20 with Neethling unable to add the extras.

They went two scores clear on 69 minutes when replacement Tom Arscott went in and Neethling converted.  

Walsh pulled three points back on 79 minutes to make sure of a losing bonus point but Albion took the win.

Earth Titans 25 (Tries: Bedford (7), Burke (42), Bornman (50), Hennessy (77). Con: Whitehead. Pen: Whitehead (2)  

Although it was defeat number nine Sedgley Park gave the Titans a run for their money before going down by just five points at Park Lane to the leaders.

The Titans were ahead after two minutes with fly half Mike Whitehead putting over a second minute penalty goal.

Phil Jones levelled for Park two minutes later but the Titans were ahead again just three minutes later when scrum half Joe Bedford went over for a try and an 8-3 lead.

Jones kicked a second penalty goal on 14 minutes to narrow the gap to two points in what was the final score of the half.

Two tries in the opening ten minutes of the second half saw the Titans move into a 20-6 lead with centre Brendan Burke and No 8 Jamie Bornman going in for tries and Whitehead converting the second of these.

Just before the hour mark the home side were back within seven point when Jones went in for a score and added the conversion. 

The visitors went two scores clear on 77 minute when replacement centre Brendan Hennessy went in for an unconverted try.

Full back Chris Wilkinson got the second Park try on 80 minutes and Jones converted but they could not manage another and the Titans took the win to remain four points clear at the top of the table.

Pertemps Bees 38 (Tries: Nutthal (14), Knight (27), Davies (70), Goodridge (72). Cons: Davies 3. Pens: Davies 4 (5, 11, 36, 65).  

The Pertemps Bees remain in seventh place after this away win at Waterloo who slipped to their seventh defeat in nine matches.

Brad Davies kicked the visitors into a 6-0 lead in the first 11 minutes before left wing Matt Nutthal went over for a try and Davies converted for 13-0 after 14 minutes. Waterloo got on the scoreboard when they were awarded a 23^rd minute penalty try and Steve Nutt converted.

Centre Dave Knight got the second Bees try and with Davies kicking a third penalty goal they were 21-7 ahead at the break.    

Seven minutes into the second half and Waterloo were back within seven when hooker Peter Ince went over the Bees line and Nutt converted.

The next score did not come till the 65^th minute when Davies put over another penalty goal and five minutes later went over a try which he converted and the Bees were out of sight at 31-14. Full back Jon Goodridge went over for his fifth try of the season on 72 minutes to secure the bonus point.

The home side did manage a third try with centre Freeman Payne going in for an unconverted try on 77 minutes.

Leeds Tykes are up to third place in the table after this home win over Moseley at Headingley on Sunday as they pick up their fourth four try bonus point of the season.

Ollie Thomas gave the visitors the lead with a penalty goal in the opening minute. The Tykes responded with a try from prop Mike McDonald on 10 minutes and Leigh Hinton converted for 7-3. Three minutes later Thomas put over a second penalty goal and when he converted a 17^th minute try from centre Daren O’Leary they were 13-7 ahead.

Leeds regained the lead on 23 minutes when No 8 Rhys Oakley went over for a try and Hinton converted for 14-13.

Bit it was Moseley who led at the break when left wing Andy Binns went in for a score and Thomas converted to make it 20-14.

After the break it did not take the home side long to regain the lead after Hinton put over a penalty goal and second row Kearnan Myall went over for a try on 45 minutes to make it 24-20 with Hinton converting.

They pulled clear with Hinton putting over another penalty goal and then debutant wing Chris Hughes touching down and Hinton adding the extras to make it 34-20 after 57 minutes.

In the 80^th minute Moseley closed to within in seven when Back row replacement James Rodwell touched down and Thomas converted. In injury time Hinton made sure with his third penalty goal.    

Cornish Pirates 37 (Tries: Roke 2 (14, 48), McAtee (24), Evans (45). Cons: Di Bernardo 4. Pens: Di Bernardo 3 (12, 20, 64).   

Exeter Chiefs 20 (Tries: M Fatialofa (29), Luff (78). Cons: Yapp 2. Pens: Yapp 2 (7, 34).  

The Pirates make it seven wins out of nine with this excellent win over Exeter Chiefs to retain second spot in the table.

Tony Yapp put the Chiefs ahead with a 7^th minute penalty goal which lasted five minutes before Alberto Di Bernardo kicked one for the Pirates. Two minutes later and the home side were ahead with centre Duncan Roke touching down and Di Bernardo converting to make it 10-3. They went further ahead with Di Bernardo putting over a penalty goal and the converting the second home try after right wing Rhodri McAtee went over for his 7^th try of the season and Di Bernardo converted to make it 20-3 after 24 minutes.

By half time the visitors had pulled back to within seven points of the home side with a try from centre Mark Fatialofa and Yapp added the conversion and put over a second penalty goal. 

The Pirates settled the game in the opening eight minutes of the second half with tries from Roke, who completed a double, and No 8 Matt Evans and Di Bernardo converted both to make it 34-13.

Di Bernardo increased the lead just after the half hour mark with a penalty goal. The Chiefs did manage the final score as right wing Jason Luff touched down and Adam Staniforth converted in the 78^th minutes.

The crowd was an excellent 4,580.
