Reading Manager Steve Coppell looks set to keep with the same starting 11 that produced a fine performance on Tuesday night against Crystal Palace which resulted in a fantastic 3-2 victory. That means Kevin Doyle will once again partner Leroy Lita up front in the absence of Dave Kitson, who is still not 100% after a recent knee injury. The impressive Brnyar Gunnarsson will start the match alongside James Harper in the centre of midfielder. Much has been made of the Icelandic star's impact already in the 2 games he has started, with comparison's already being drawn to Royals legend Phil Parkinson. Nicky Shorey misses out once again with a knee injury, so Chris Makin retains his place at left back. Crewe will be without striker Eddie Johnson for tomorrow's visit. The on loan Manchester United forward has a hamstring injury picked up in Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Plymouth Argyle. Former Shrewsbury Town striker Luke Rodgers is pushing for a starting place. He is yet to start a game for the Alex this season. Defender Adie Moses misses out with an ankle injury. Crewe Alexandra Hotshot - Kenny Lunt |
