SOARES JOINS TAMWORTH

Soares, who is the younger brother of Crystal Palace midfielder Tom is yet to have made a first team appearance for Reading.

He joins the Conference side to get vital first team experience and also with the view of putting his name about as he looks likely to leave the Royals this summer.

He signed a 1 year contract at the club last summer along with midfielder Simieon Howell but both haven't been able to force there way into Steve Coppell's plans, despite the fact that Graeme Murty and James Harper, 2 first team regulars who's recent form has been nothing short of pathetic.

Director of Football Nick Hammond said on Louie;

"We think it is important for Louie to go on loan and see how he copes with the step up to men's football at a competitive level.

"Tamworth are in a dogfight so it is a good test for him and I hope he will rise to that challenge in a similar way to Johnny Mullins at Kidderminster."

"It will be an interesting and important loan for him and we'll be monitoring it very closely."

Louie is just the latest of a number of players who are currently out on loan. Johnny Mullins is a regular in the Kidderminster first team while Bas Savage joined Bury a couple of weeks ago and also Adam Federici is playing his trade with Maidenhead United for vital work experience.
