Royals striker Shaun Goater could miss some pre season training in a couple of weeks because of a lack of hotels available in Bermuda. All the hotels in Bermuda are currently booked up meaning the 2nd leg of a World Cup qualifier Vs El Savador cannot take place yet, possibly until Friday,9th July. Reading striker Shaun Goater could be set to miss a number of days of pre season training because of a bizarre hotel mix up in Bermuda.

Goater's Bermuda are currently half way through a World Cup qualifier against El Savador and having lost the 1st leg 2-1 on Sunday,Bermuda are due to face El Savador at Bermuda's National Sports Centre again on Sunday,20th June.

But because their are a lack of available hotels in Bermuda around the 20th,the match could be delayed until the 9th July.

This would mean Goater missing some crucial pre season training and the warm up match's against Forest Green Rovers and Bath City on the 13th July.

As it's a World Cup qualifier,Bermuda have the right the force Reading to send Goater to the game, despite it being hoped to play in dates that wouldn't suit Manager Steve Coppell.

To make matters even more of a pain,El Savador want the game to be played this Sunday in either Miami or Los Angeles.

The Goat suffered last season because of a persistent knee injury that stopped him from having a full summer's training.

A very bizarre situation and hopefully all will be resolved with Goater not having to miss any games.
