Following the 2-1 defeat at Bradford, Steve Coppell has some important decisions to make regarding his starting line-up. The good news is Steve Sidwell has served his 1 game ban following his sending off at Coventry. He will definitely come back into the starting line-up. He should partner James Harper in the central midfield role. Coppell must decide which centre back's to start with. He has captain Adie Williams back from injury and he played the full 90 minutes in the defeat to Bradford. Then he must choose 1 out of Ricky Newman and Ivar Ingimarrson. Ingimarrson was sent off on Saturday after an "off the ball" incident with Dean Windass. Coppell has to also decide who starts at left back. Andy Hughes has played their in recent weeks but Dean Gordon made his debut on Saturday and impressed. Goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann is still out injured with a medial knee ligament injury sustained in the draw Vs Stoke back in March so young goalie Jamie Ashdown continues in goal. Another big issue is who will start the game for the Royals up front. Nicky Forster made his comeback after a 3 month absence due to a stomach injury. He impressed and will add pressure onto Dean Morgan and Dave Kitson. On-loan Leicester City winger Paul Brooker should continue on the right wing. He has started the last 2 games. Nicky Shorey misses the rest of the season with a foot infection while Steve Brown had knee surgery on Monday. Joe Gamble is on-loan at Barnet for the season.
