Directions From The North: Leave the M1 at Junction 26 and take the A610 towards Nottingham and then signs for Melton Mowbray. Cross the River Trent and you will see the ground on your left. Alternatively as you approach Nottingham on the A610 you will pick up signs for "football traffic". Although following signs these signs for you to take all round the outskirts of Nottingham you do eventually end up at the City Ground, along the A6011.

From The South: Leave the M1 at Junction 24 and take the A453 towards Nottingham. Then take the A52 East towards Grantham and then into the A6011 into Nottingham. The ground is situated by the A6011. 
Drink Outside The Larwood and Voce Pub is always packed with both home and away supporters on a street called Fox Road (off Radcliffe Road)
Food outside There are the usual burger vans.
Drink inside In both the home and away ends.
Food inside Food is ok though it tends to go very quickly so I recommend going before half time just to be on the safe side.

The Experience
The City Ground is an all seater stadium with 3 modern stands and 1 stand which isn't so modern. The 3 stands are 2 tier while the old stand is a single tier. There is a scoreboard that doesn't actually show the score which is a bit pointless. The stadium is right next to the River Trent so bear caution, you maybe pushed in. You can also see Notts County's Loop Meadow as it's on the opposite side of the river.
