Royals will have two live games on Sky in the first two months of the season The first will be against Rotherham United and the second against Sunderland. The first game of the season on Sky for Reading will be at home to Rotherham United. The game will be on Monday 25th August. After first seeing the live games I was not that impressed with a home game against Rotherham. For starters Readings first two games are against potential promotion candidates, so why could they not choose one of these. Also the attendance is likely to be around a disappointing 12,000 because it is on Sky.

The second game on Sky for the Royals is away to Sunderland. This will please a lot of fans because of the distance to Sunderland. The only down side is that the game will kick off at 5:35 PM which will mean fans going to the game are likely to get home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
