Birmingham city will start there new promotion campaign against a newly promoted side....but who i hear you say? well we`ve signed a player from them and i hope he gets a dubut goal! against his old team. Ex-Birmingham City defender Jamie Clapham is set to retur to his old Club Ipswich town on a three-year deal.

Birmingham City in the Shittu? The blues are reportedly intrested in signing Danny Shittu of QPR , but face stiff competition from premiership new boys Watford. Birmingham are also reportedly in for Shittu's team mate Marc Bircham who is another midfielder that we have been looking at for some time.

Meanwhile Birmingham city are close to a few more signings which are expected to be announced next week if everything goes swimmingly.
