Rumour has it that David Dunn could be set to join Premiership new boys Sheffield United as they attempt to stay clear of relegation next season. However Gold is trying to keep all assets at the club. Birmingham City's record signing has been linked with a possible move to Yorkshire and Sheffield United who have been promoted to the Premier League, and are looking to bolster there squad. Warnock is said to be looking for a technically good player in the midfield and Dunn is said to be there man.
However injuries have hampered Dunn while he`s been at St. Andrews. A hamstring injury put paid to his 2003/04 campaign in February 2004 while his 2004/05 campaign was similarly cut short, this time by a back injury , while injurys have been no help during the 2005/06 season.
