Birmingham contiunue there relegation scrap by claiming a 2-1 against a utter crappy Blackburn Rovers side, in all fairness the scoreline should have been greater, the long haired jippo also returned to st andrews On a night the old "Fan`s favorite" returned and thought he claimed a valid point for the "European hopefuls" Julian Gray returned with a bang on the left wing by running his heart out all game and giving his all for the cause, Birmingham were knocking on the door first half and would have scored if Blackburns American international goalie Friedel wasent on form,


 Heskey once again proved he couldnt hit a barn door by heading Damien johnsons header over from the 6 yard line, Chris Sutton then missed a sitter as he somehow hit wide from a cross which should have just been a tap-in , just before the half-time whistle , Arguably Birminghams best players was forced off with injury Jermaine Pennant was replaced by Mario Melchiot.

On 62 minutes Birmingham took the lead when Heskeys mis-kick prestented its selfto Julian Gray who cross was met by Nicky Butt who taped in his 2nd goal of the campaign, 16 miutes later against the run of play ex-City player savage volleyed home for his first goal for rovers ironically scored against his old team, in the 87th minute Gray once again made a fabulous cross which made its way to Forssell who turns and SCORES!!!!! for Birmingham to claim all 3 points and climb ot of the relegation zone, surely its in our own hands now!
