Birmingham city round off an excellent week for me personally by ending it 5-0 against portsmouth at the home of the mighty Blues St-Andrews!

Well well well, what a great week for me!

Tuesday: Win darts county final!
Friday: won £1 on a scratch card!
Saturday: Birmingham hammer portsmouth 5-0 !

Anyway the report - Birmingham go ahead early on thanks to a placed header from Jiri Jarosik and Chris sutton is denied a goal on his home debut by a wonder-save from Jamie Ashdown but Just before the break Jermain Pennant stabs home the second to send the home fans into raptures.

Upson unmarked on a corner headed home to send the mighty blues 3-0 up just after the break, heskey who had a great game although he failed to score was taken off for Forsell on the 70th minute, when only 11 minutes into his game had the perfect opportunity to hand the blues better goal difference with a penalty, which was calmly taken and of course scored to make it 4-0 , Dunn who came on , on ther 74th minute scored on the 90+ minute when being unchallenged to make it 5-0 to the mighty blues.

Pompey gaffer said (Harry Redknapp):-

"I know we can still get out of it but it's gonna be difficult.

"I knew what the situation was when I came in and it's not changed. We are going to have to start scrapping to get results and there's lots of work to do.

"The squad is desperately short and we need strengthening in many positions. We're bitterly disappointed."

Our gaffer said (Steve Bruce):-

"There is no magic formula. We are playing better than a few weeks ago and that has coincided with the return of our better players.

"Mikael Forssell is running around for the first time in 15 months without pain and with our financial situation I wouldn't be able to go and buy a striker of his quality.

"We are in better shape than we've ever been and I'm convinced that we can turn things around."
