Birmingham boss has admited it was a blow to hear when wigan confirmed they have agreed a fee for the austria international, and that he is going to do all he can to scrape out a deal for him to join the blues, with wigan hopeing to wrap up a deal when the transfer window opens in less than two weeks' time
steve bruce said :-

"I'm aware of what has happened with Wigan," said Bruce.

"He's someone we've tracked for two or three months so we'll see what develops over the next two or three days."

"We'll try to make something happen. He's someone we've identified for the best part of six months after he played against us in a friendly so we'll see what we can do."
