The two derby day victory's over Aston Villa have been voted as the most memorable games from last season. The 2-0 home victory came out in first place with the 1-2 away win following on in second place.

The result of the 2004/05 Game of the Season poll is finally in, and the St Andrews derby day victory over Aston Villa has been voted as the number one game of last season.

With 31% of the votes the 2-0 home win over Aston Villa has been voted as the number one game of last season with the 1-2 away victory coming a close second with 29% of the votes. In third place the 2-0 home win over Liverpool got 16% of the votes.

Goals by Emile Heskey (with special thanks going to Thomas Sorenson) and Julian Gray sealed a second victory of the season over the Blues local rivals. The win also secured a second Premiership double over the Villa.

2nd Place:     Aston Villa 1 Birmingham City 2

First half goals by Clinton Morrison and David Dunn gave the Blues a shock victory against Aston Villa in the first derby clash of the season. A late Gareth Barry goal wasn't enough for Villa as the Blues made it three wins out of five against their local rivals.

A Walter Pandiani penalty followed by a Julian Gray volley secured a famous Premier League double over the European Champions.
