Blues striker Clinton Morrison has today been charged with 'improper conduct' by the Football Association. The charge refers to an incident between Morrison and Bolton defender Nicky Hunt during Wednesdays game.

The Football Association have charged Clinton Morrison with improper conduct following his clash with Nicky Hunt during the defeat against Bolton.

Morrison appeared to push Hunt to the ground following an argument with the Bolton defender. The incedent began with Morrison's strike partner Emile Heskey being booked for clashing with Bruno N'Gotty. A disupte then began between the blues attack and Bolton defence resulting in Morrison pushing Hunt.

The Repulic of Ireland international escaped a red card as the referee in charge, Uriah Rennie missed the incident. Rennie though jumped to Morrison's defence by saying that had he seen the incident Morrison would only have been cautioned. This would surely help Morrison's cause and could see any restriction placed upon him being shortened.

Morrison could though face up to a three match ban or a fine.
