Manchester United have issued a formal denial against the rumours reported in the Mirror that they are looking to bring Leeds' James Milner to Old Trafford.

The Mirror and various other sites had suggested a possible link between Manchester United and Leeds United, but the Red Devils had formally denied the claims.

"Contrary to reports in today's newspapers, Manchester United are not interested in signing James Milner from Leeds United."

This will be of relief to Leeds' fans who hold the sensational youngster in high regard. The fans at Old Trafford might actually of been pleased were they to sign him. But notr being on myself I can't be certain.
