Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has played down reports linking the club with Feyenoord striker Robin van Persie and Parma goalkeeper Sebastien Frey.
The Frenchman said: "I am surprised that the reports are coming in from Feyenoord. I am not responsible for them. They can say what they want, I can't comment on that. I can just say that we haven't signed anyone and you can trust me that when we've signed someone, we will inform you."
And when asked about Frey he declared: "He (Sebastien Frey) said that he has had me on the phone telling him that I want him to come here. I can tell you that I've never spoken to him."
