Harriers will be aiming to bounce back from Fridays defeat to league leaders, Doncaster when they take on Northampton Town on Tuesday night.Another hard game ahead for Kidder against a team chasing the play offs.Updated to include late signing news.

Tuesday sees Harriers take on play off chasing Northampton Town at Aggboro. It was at Northampton that Harriers boss Jan Molby made his return with a fine 1-0 win courtesy of a Sean Parrish goal. What would we give for a similar result on Tuesday as Harriers now stand one place off the relegation zone. Also on Tuesday sees most of the division in action and we could slip into those places if results don’t go our way. The important thing is to concentrate on our own games.

Harriers could be without two defenders following Friday’s heavy defeat at Donny. Skipper Wayne Hatswell suffered concussion and was detained in hospital whist Matt Gadsby suffered a groin strain. Craig Hinton will be available again after serving his one match ban. The injured trio of Willis, Coleman and Jenkins are presumably still out although I have heard that Coleman has returned to training. Tuesday will also probably see the return of Mark Yates to Harriers. some fans will not be happy with this but lets hope the negativity is not transferred from the terrace. You can make your feeling known quietly on this site by voting on our poll. My vote goes for “wait and see”.

So here’s hoping again that Harriers can bounce back from the heavy defeat at Doncaster. To be honest it seemed that anything that could go wrong, did on Friday. Goal down early on, 2 defenders out by half time, goal on the stroke of half time and Stamps sent off early in the 2nd half. It seems that Scott’s red card was deserved which makes me feel a little better. It doesn’t change anything of course but I just hate feeling cheated. Apparently Rovers 2nd goal was controversial when we should have had a corner. Still, it would appear that it wouldn’t have altered the outcome. We need 3 points desperately now and with another home game coming up on Saturday against York a maximum return would be rather splendid.

Anyway, thanks for popping in and once more, here’s hoping.

1/3/03 update

It is reported on the official site that Harriers are after a new centre half. It looks like both Gadsby and Hatswell are definately out for tomorrow and Jan has declared that Sall is not match fit.Lets wait and see if we can bring anyone in ready for tomorrow.

Update 2/3/04

It has been confirmed today by the official site that Harriers have signed Adrian Viveash on loan from Swindon Town. The defender will add vast experience to the back line having played over 440 games for Walsall,Reading, Swindon and Oxford.Adrian is expected to make his debut tonight against Northampton, having signed for a month.
