Harriers take on York City tomorrow(watch out for the weather though!). Harriers will be looking to extend their good run of late.Plus Wolves tickets update,Cheltenham fixture news,the Junior's party, plus a dishy Dane is due for the Ladies. YORK V HARRIERS
Harriers make the trip north tomorrow to take on the Minstermen of York City. This will be a difficult game for Harriers, as York have only lost one home game this season. Molby’s men will be looking to extend their unbeaten away record, since the return of the big man.
The York game could be the last one for Steve Burton, whose loan deal from Hull City expires tomorrow. However it is believed that Hull are willing to extend the loan further. Jan is still on the look out for new players, having signed two last week in Scott Rickards and Lee Jenkins. Adam Murray is still making up his mind which club he will join, with a number of clubs interested in the former Derby man. One man who will be joining us, is Jesper Christiansen. The Dane joined the lads for training this week, and was seen at the Junior Supporters Xmas party. Whether Jesper can start scoring on the pitch, but with those chiselled Scandnavian looks, I’m sure he’ll be a hit with the towns female population.
WOLVES TICKETS
Today (20/12/03), saw tickets go on sale to voucher holders from the Orient game. Providing 4 tickets are bought to any future Harriers game this season, the voucher holder can buy 2 Wolves tickets. I think I’m correct in thinking that for 2 adults standing against Wolves plus 4 future games, if you did it in a pair, it would cost £44 each. That’s £44 for 3 games between two fans, not that bad. Much has been said about the tickets situation. Personally I agree with what has been done, not much else could be done. Yes, it would be easier if it was at Molinuex, but we cant switch it. it would be easier if we’d have drawn Blackburn at home as well. Voucher holders can also buy tickets tomorrow as well, with the office open 9-2pm both days. Any remaining tickets go on sale on Monday. On Monday, with general sale, anyone wishing to purchase a ticket, will still be required to buy 4 future match tickets. please note, this info is a guide and I would advise you to look on the official site (Via Harriers links), for confirmation, as these details may change.
CHELTENHAM FIXTURE
There will be some tractors on the M5 on Tuesday 27th January, for that’s when Harriers have re arranged the Cheltenham fixture, usual kick off at 7.45pm.
JUNIOR SUPPORTERS PARTY
As reported on the official site, over 100 kids (including me, the big kid!) attended the Juniors Supporters Xmas party. With so much unjustified bad press lately, I think people should note the following. Over 100 kids attended, around 7 players were present, the kids received a meal, a Xmas gift, a photo opportunity with the players, a disco & magic show, plenty of sweets etc. This event was free in some ways, its costs just £35 for a season to join, (even cheaper for under 8’s ). That £35 gets you in to every league game plus events such as this, plus many other benefits and discounts. In light of recent events as well, you are also regarded as a season ticket holder, when it comes to big games. Not bad eh ? Well my daughter enjoyed it.
