Wolves in the Cup

Kidderminster Harriers are at home to Wolves in the FA Cup. According to our poll, thats what most people wanted. A great draw but will it be at Aggie or switched to Molinuex? So Kidder go into todays draw, and like many other minnows, are hoping for a big team. One man who might be able to help, is Peter Shilton. The former England keeper, and father of Harriers winger, Sam, is to be involved in the draw today.
So get ready by the telly at 3.00pm, BBC one and lets hope for a good draw.
ITS THE WOLVES
What a great draw for Harriers, against our nearest Premiership team, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
many questions will now be asked, will it be played at Aggboro, or can it be switched, the answer I think is, I dont think it can be. Next question, will it be on TV? I dont know, but it has got a chance. Now doubt, Yeovil & Liverpool will take centre stage, plus some of the all Prem games,such as Villa v Man utd. But hopefully it has a chance. Mainly because, with our gropund only holding 6,500 and the fact were probably not allowed to switch to Molinuex, then at least more people could see it. One final question,which will be asked many times now until early January, can we win ? Without sounding cocky, yes we can. What I think is if we were drawn against a top 6 Prem side, then we could play them 100 times, and maybe win once. But with a team towards the bottom then that senario does reduce a bit, say if we played them 50 times, then we might win once. Probably the best would be a replay, which would bring in even more money. Will update later with more thoughts on a great draw for the town plus some of the problems which need to be overcome.
ITS WHAT WE WANTED
according to our mini poll (all our polls are mini!) JJJ users chose a Midlans Prem team as our ideal 3rd round opponents, just ahead of Liverpool. See below Result;
Question of the Week
Question: We still in the FA Cup !! If we can get through, who would your ideal 3rd round opponent be?
Midlands Prem side 43%
Liverpool(for Jan!) 29%
Midlands div1 side (WBA?) 7%
Div2/3 team 0%
Man You-Knight-Head 14%
Non league team 7%

New poll coming up;
should the 3rd round be seeded. Not just to protect the big clubs from early exits, but more to guarantee small clubs a chance of a big game and pay day.
