Harriers take on Torquay tomorrow and its ladies day. Maybe Helen Chamberlain will be coming, and according to Soccer AM, there will be at least one girl there tomorrow, Kidder striker Bo Henriksen. If Bo can play like last seasons game, then Hells Bells Gulls will be very upset. Its Ladies day tomorrow at Aggboro, as Kiddy take on Torquay United. The club have issue some free tickets out to local females, so don’t forget to smarten yourself up, you might pull ! Only joking, a good idea, plus there will be loads of kids from some local youth teams in attendance with the clubs lottery, who knows, we might get 3000 ? maybe Helen Chamberlain will attend as well, I did see her when we played the Gulls in our 1st ever league game.
Shock news regarding the Harriers team as they could be without 1st choice keeper Stuart Brock. According to the official site, Brocky has got the flu and is unlikely to recover in time. This would see rooky keeper John Danby given his full league debut, having only ever appeared from the bench before. You never know, Jan might get another keeper in at the 11th hour, but it would be nice to see what Danby can do. Otherwise it should be an unchanged team.
The main team news this week as seen left back Steve Burton extend his loan from Hull City for another month. Steve was very impressive last week against Rochdale. Another player to be linked with a move to Harriers from Hull, is former favourite Richie Appleby. Richie has been injured for most of his time at Hull, since his Bosman move there in summer 2002, and recently has been given a time limit to get fit. This week, Hull manager, Peter Taylor has stated that he would be prepared to let Richie go and join us. Harriers boss Jan Molby has also indicated he may be interested in bringing Richie back to Aggboro. Of course, this would be the 4th time Jan has signed him.
So lets hope we can keep our good run going against the Gulls, who are having a reasonable season. Last week they beat Cheltenham 3-1 at home. a couple of former Harriers strikers have made moves this week. Andy Bishop has joined Rochdale on loan for a month, whilst Mikeal Antoine Currier has left Dale and is to join 2nd division Sheffield Wednesday on trial.

Harriers visit Worcester City for a testomonial game for Ian Cotterill. More details later, Jan has promised to send a strong squad. kick off 7.45pm at St Georges Lane, Worcester.
