tonight Harriers took on Queens Park Rangers in the first round of the LDV Vans Trophy. Harriers were looking to put there troubles behind them. Despite an apparently improved display the lost 2-0. Manager Ian Britton made a few changes to the line up for tonights clash against QPR. The most notable change being the return of Kenny Coleman.Striker Bo Henriksen missed the game with a groin strain

I do confess to not attending tonight, couldnt quite wangle another 1/2 day and in honesty didnt fancy an LDV game in midweek. But thats my problem and I salute the brave soles who made the trip tonight.
According to the brief report I managed to get, Harriers were improved from Saturday. However thye did fail to really threaten the Rangers goal, with the best efforts from Melligan and Parish. Harriers fell at the LDV 1st hurdle for the 1st time since entering the league thanks to Rangers goals from Pacquette (40) and Gnomere(81).
Back to the riggers of divsion 3 on Saturday with a trip to high flying Swansea. Britt is looking to add to the squad and lets hope he does.
